First Baptist Church of Oklahoma

When Oklahoma was opened to settlement, towns sprang up virtually overnight. Churches were among the first buildings in a new community with many established on near the center of town. Many Baptist congregations chose the name of First Baptist Church to signify their role in the development and stability of the community. Here are just a few of the First Baptist Churches of Oklahoma.
